AEM GEM On "Tips and Tricks for AEM Sites Touch UI"

Adobe will be holding another GEM on June 3rd, 2015. This session will be focusing on tips and tricks for the AEM Sites Touch UI. The session will be teaching you how to:

  • How to efficiently navigate and find content
  • How to author content
  • How to keep an overview of what is going on 
  • How to organize content and collaborate on it

If you have not attended one of these AEM sessions, they are a great chance to listen to some of the best experts in the industry, a great place to ask questions, and a good way to start networking.

Hi,

Can you please let me know the idea hot do we create database based authentication process in AEM. how to start it do we need to create any authentication process for this if yes then how to proceed if i have verified from database but need to create login token on author or publish

In order to use a custom authentication process based on a database, you will need to create a custom login modul. This process will vary depending on which version of AEM you are running.

Once you have created the login module, you will need to make a custom authentication handler and verify the user. You will need to configure this for both author and publish modes if you want to use the authentication on both.
